Main Aim of the Collection
The main aim of the collection is to combine sensitive colours and narrow fabrics with strong, sharp, clear shapes and silhouettes. To achieve, by simple lines of seams involved effect of 3D volume.
Theme and Inspiration
For the references, I’ve chosen natural minerals, stones, and different types of crystals. As for me, complex shapes and forms of stones, can be used for investigatig new types of pattern cutting, fabric manipulation, colours and different techniques of sewing. Talking about the inspiration in this project, I’ve chosen the natural minerals because of a huge range of colours in them, I love different combinations of colour, and how they are playing and matching to each other. In this project, I would like to try to compare the sharp and narrow style of both subjects for my theme. Also it would be great to reach by fabric manipulation, and unusual combinations of colours, result of a natural crystal forms in 3D volume.
So basic idea of particular that dress was,
to constract a 3D volume affect of
crystal-shaped fabric pieces.
Digital printing, on a top, that also comes
from the shape, and silhouette of minerals
and organic crystals.
Long Jersey dress, with digital print on it.
With a short bolero jacket on.
Jacket and High waist trousers. Jacket made
by a principle of a Raglan sleeve, that also
combines tree colots in it, to present and give
an idea of a 3D volume of a crystal shape.
